Delivery Terms & Condition
We delivery to all UK addresses and most International destinations using First Class Royal Mail for UK and International Air Mail. Postage costs are added at Checkout time according to your delivery country. All postage prices are up-to-date with the latest Royal Mail prices. We make a small packaging charge to ensure all goods arrive safely and intact.
All orders will be shipped after credit card approval and order processing.
Most of the Lovespoons displayed on the site are available immediately. However, due to demand we may not be able to complete you order immediately as the spoon ordered may have to be re-carved.
When an order is placed on this web site a username and password is automatically sent out to the customer. This allows the customer to login to the site, Track the order status and be sure an order has been placed. A confirmation email is also sent to the customer when an order is placed.
The processing of your payment and acknowledgment of your order does not constitute legal acceptance of your order.
On our website, you may place an order to purchase a product advertised for sale by following the onscreen prompts after clicking on the item you wish to purchase. You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you place your order by clicking the “Place order and pay” button on the checkout page.
All orders placed by you and purchases of goods by you from us are subject to acceptance by us. We may choose not to accept your order or purchase for any reason and will not be liable to you or to anyone else in those circumstances.
Where we accept your order, we have a legal duty to supply goods that in conformity with these Terms and Conditions
Occasionally, an error may occur and goods may be either incorrectly priced or described in which case we will not be obliged to supply the goods at the incorrect price or in accordance with the incorrect description or at all. We reserve the right to correct any errors from time to time. We will (at our discretion) either cancel your order and refund the price you have paid or use reasonable endeavours to contact you and ask you whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price or correct description. If we are unable to contact you or you do not wish to continue with the order at the correct price or correct description, we will cancel your order and refund the price you have paid.
All spoon sizes are approximate, and the hue and grain of the spoon may differ significantly
Should any package arrive in a damaged state please notify us as soon as possible and you will be given instructions on how to proceed. Products delivered to the customer in a damaged or defective condition and reported to us within 28 days will be returned, or exchanged at no cost to the customer.
If you are not satisfied with a product you received, it may be returned for a full refund minus postage and packaging costs. However, products may only be returned with the prior approval of The Welsh Lovespoon Centre. To request a return please contact us by telephone or e-mail and you will be given instructions on how to proceed.
An engraved spoon cannot be returned. However, if The Lovespoon Centre has made an error with the engraving details the spoon can be returned with prior approval of The Lovespoon Centre. Returned items must be in their original unused condition.
The Welsh Lovespoon Centre is not responsible for any damage to the goods during the return. We recommend that return shipments are insured and traceable – e.g. Special Delivery service.
To provide our customers with the safest e-commerce credit card transaction possible we use 128-bit encrypted Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software from Thawte at the Checkout stage of shopping. All of your personal information, including credit card number is stored in an encrypted state. This data can only be decrypted by The Welsh Lovespoon Centre at credit card processing time. As soon as this stage is complete all Credit Card data is permanently locked. No Credit Card information is ever transmitted via unsecure methods.
